Sven Suits, Mumbai - Review & Rating

I went in looking for an affordable suit. Things have been though financially during this pandemic and I was on a tight budget. The sales man Guy, listened to me and treated me with respect and dignity. He got me an amazing deal for a quality suit. I truly felt like I was his life long friend or part of his family. If you need a suit for any occasion in Mumbai or anywhere you should contact this guys. This was one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had because I was not looked down upon or treated inferiorly for being on a tight budget. I will buy all my suits and my sons suits here from now on. Thank you so much for treating me like a human being and not like a sale price.

These guys are complete frauds who work out of a make shift office. They take money in advance and then dont bother to either respond or pick your calls. They will delay for months (yes, not weeks!) and get you so frustrated that you will give up chasing them. The quality of the suits is the worst ever you would have experienced

Firstly, credit where it is due. Sven Suits is good when it comes to quality of their work. I stitched 2 suits and 4 shirts from them and the work is pretty good. (My 1 star is only for this)

However, I have never had such a horrendous experience when it comes to timelines and service. I have been in touch with them since beginning of March. I put confidence in them and gave them a lot of things to get stitched. I have stitched stuff worth about 21k from them. But I regret my decision now because of the harrowing experience that I have had to endure! Earlier, the service was quite OK. However, as time progressed it just went completely downhill. They never ever stick to the delivery times committed by them. I understand a delay of a day or two, but the delay is always more than a week, 2 weeks and sometimes even more! They always keep on postponing the dates committed by them for delivery. Also, they have goofed up a couple of times like forgetting to stitch buttons below the cuffs, keeping the shirt for more than a week to stitch my monogram and then deliver it without the monogram and wait for me to spot it instead of informing me beforehand, fusing issues at the collar and cuff of a shirt (which they did replace).

The worst part is their attitude when questioned. It is so unprofessional! The least they can do is if the delivery is going to get delayed at least inform the customer about it. However, that is never the case. One of their owners, Swaraj Vedpathak never picks up calls or responds to WhatsApp messages, and I mean NEVER! The other owner Aditya Bhardwaj, instead of owning up to their mistake always tries to justify it and many times has retorted rudely at me saying if they have committed a date then it is not carved in stone (Can you believe it!?!?). Their problem is they dont have enough staff. Both the owners only come home for everything, be it for taking measurements and delivering the clothes.
