5 Ways to Keep Kids Entertained at your Wedding
Whether you want kids at your wedding or no is not a choice, especially in the case of Indian weddings. So, now that you know there will be a bunch of kiddos at the wedding, you need to make sure that they don’t make it difficult for the adults. You will have to devise ways to accommodate them and keep them entertained while making the venue better equipped and more child-friendly.
Remember one thing, simply excluding them from the main area or creating a separate section for them is not going to work wonders, you have to do much more! For example, having a kid’s table is a brilliant idea of keeping them busy, while also including them in the happenings. You could also consider having special treats for the kiddies, separate wedding favours for them, and some interactive games or activities. You could also earn extra brownie points if you decide to have child-friendly furniture.
Here is a host of things you could engage the little guests in:
1. Treats
A vintage cart with a large variety of sweets, candies and other nibbles can be a super-hit amongst the kiddies.
Marshmallows, s’mores, crackers and chocolates- these sweet treats are enough to make any kid have fun!
Kids can be quite fussy when it comes to food at weddings. How about enticing them to pick up something to eat by making it in the shape of teddy bears!
Milk and cookies- A Classic combination.
P.S. The kiddies also need some shots 😛
Keeping bite-sized food like fries, sandwiches, burgers and smaller portions of dishes like pasta, mac and cheese, and noodles can be a rage amongst them!
2. Wedding favours.
Sweet treats for children to take home!
The tiny tots won’t be able to resist little soft toys.
3. Outdoor games
How about this inflatable bouncy house with a slide for kids to have loads of fun!
Some kids may just want to play something which is less exerting but is an equal amount of fun. A game of Jenga for them isn’t a bad idea!
A beautiful cozy outdoor tent for the kiddies to have fun in.
I don’t think any kid would say ‘NO’ to bubbles.
4. Indoor activities
An exclusive space for kids to get creative with drawing, painting, and origami.
If you want to keep them entertained for long, a game of treasure hunt would be a good idea!
5. Photobooth
Keep a few props for kiddies and set up a photo booth for them.
Good luck with the kiddies, folks!
