Dinesh & Nishtha Pushkar : A dreamy destination wedding held at the breathtaking Pushkar Fort!

Nishtha and Dinesh recently got hitched in a dreamy wedding ceremony held at the surreal Regenta Pushkar Fort. Their love story and their proposal is something that will even put the whole of Bollywood to shame!

The Love Story…

It sounds a little complicated, but Nishtha is Dinesh’s cousin brother’s best friend’s sister. Let it sink in! So, the story starts with both of them travelling to their native places via train on Nishtha’s birthday. Dinesh got attracted to her, the moment he set his eyes on her! He coaxed the other children in the compartment to sing the birthday song for her thinking that he’ll impress her. It was that train trip back in 2014, which led to a beautiful love story which is now blooming into an everlasting union!

Now let’s talk about the grand proposal. Dinesh left no stone unturned while planning a grand proposal. The couple have shared special moments together at a lot of music festivals. Dinesh realised proposing Nishtha at Vh1 Supersonic would be the best thing ever! So, for a month he followed with the organisers on mail and social media only to receive no response from them. Until  one day, their social media manager set him up on a call with the co founder. The co founder was sold and agreed to help Dinesh with his grand proposal. On the D-day, he surprised her with a big banner that said “Nishtha Will You Marry Me?”

Nishtha was taken aback and totally floored by Dinesh’s sweet gesture. Tears streamed down her face as she said a big, fat “YES” to the love of her life!

The Wedding Festivities…

It took 6-7 months for the Budhwanis and Chhotwanis to plan the beautiful wedding. They took a look at 15 different venues before settling on The Regenta Pushkar Fort. Loads of emails were exchanged before they selected their A team that helped them to bring their dream come true.

The Engagement Ceremony…

The engagement ceremony was a total Bollywood affair where Dinesh danced on “Sweety Tera Drama” and “Swity Tera Pyaar Chaida” because Nishtha’s nickname is sweety! He even danced on Marry Me by Bruno Mars while his cousins held the banner that said “Nishtha Will You Marry Me?” Nishtha was over the moon once again!

The Wedding

Everybody expected Dinesh to enter on a horse with his baraat..he did the same with only one tweak- he entered on an ATV! A poolside mandap was decked up in colourful drapes. Nishtha looked stunning in a bright red lehenga! Dinesh quips “Nishtha was more excited for being bride and getting beautiful pictures clicked than marrying me!” The couple are blissfully married and all geared up to spend the rest of their lives together!
