About the couple..

Levina and Jatin’s love story began while they were studying in high school in Bangkok. It started by them being extremely fond of each other. However, life took over and they lost touch with one another after they moved cities. But, destiny had something else in store for them!

Years later, they met yet again in Bengaluru and their love story continued from where they had left it. They started falling for each other all over again and when things fell in place they decided to tie the knot.

The Wedding Festivities..

The first prerequisite for the couple was that they wanted a wedding which was closer to nature, this is the main reason they chose Renaissance owing to its location, proximity to the Powai lake, lush greenery and breathtaking views.

While the wedding was being planned, Jatin was in Bengaluru and Levina was in USA, reason being the entire planning process was taken up by Jatin’s sister and brother-in-law.

Mehendi

The wedding festivities began with the mehendi ceremony, which was flavoured with Rajasthani folk dances and Punjabi Dhol, owing to the fact that the bride and groom hail from two different cultures. This increased the fun and excitement double-fold!!

The decor had an ethnic and traditional touch to it. Jatin donned a beautiful blue kurta, while we were swooning over Levina’s blue and yellow lehenga, it was refreshing and chic.

Wedding

It was an intimate affair, with close friends and family! Breaking stereotypes, the bride’s phoolon ki chaadar was held by her sisters and female friends and not her brothers.

The wedding ceremonies took place outdoors, during the daytime. The decor was minimalistic and subtle. The bride had donned a classic red lehenga with gold jewellery, while the groom was flaunting an off-white sherwani.

Reception

The reception ceremony took place on the same night. There was a lot of grooving, fun and excitement. The energy levels were SUPER-HIGH! Levina flaunted a dazzling maroon lehenga, while Jatin looked absolutely dapper in an offbeat golden sherwani.
