Onkar & Esha Mumbai : Making Traditional Ceremonies A Little More Stylish

In a traditional Maharastrian wedlock, where rituals were celebrated like festivals, Esha and Onkar’s union was unlike others of its type. Each phase of the wedding was entertaining, engaging and exciting. Bride had an amazingly attractive mehendi that was aesthetically crafted on her hand. She adorned a simple ethnic outfit with a delicate mundavalya and a light make up. Dancing all the way in his barat, the groom wore a rich shaded shervani with a bright red safa. At the frolicsome Jaimala, everyone lifted the groom over their shoulder and the bride surprisingly sat down teasing the groom. Post this fun ceremony, bride placed her first steps in her new home in the Gruhapravesh ritual knocking down the kalash with her right leg. Her unruffled green and purple shaded saree added a pious touch to the mandatory ritual. The couple also exchanged rings during the Sagai ceremony where the groom wore a fantastic dark brown kurta with a chocolate dupatta. Bride made a great style statement with an alluring turquoise saree and matching nail paints.
