Nihit & Mansha Delhi : Mansha and Nihit’s Pretty Pastel Wedding is Awe-Inspiring!
Mansha and Nihit recently tied the knot in a pretty pastel-hued wedding. Instagram and family helped them to host their dream wedding and how!
About the Couple
Mansha and Nihit first met each other at JP Morgan back in 2016. When Nihit first proposed to her two years ago, Mansha hesitated and didn’t want to lose out on the special friendship that they shared. A year ago when Mansha’s parents asked her about her plans regarding her marriage, she couldn’t think of anyone else but Nihit. She asked for his hand and he immediately said yes! Mansha says, “Nihit and I align perfectly well in our thinking – we both love to travel, explore places, experiment with food, and we share a love for animals. We are quite compatible with each other and have spent so much time together that it was difficult to know when our friendship turned to love and I instantly knew if I have to marry, it will be my best friend, and that’s him!”
The Wedding Planning
Mansha was residing in Mumbai while planning her wedding that took place in Delhi. Her sister Kriti was the biggest help to her. From the smallest details like where to buy wedding favours from to deciding the vendors – Decor, MUA, photographer, she coordinated everything and made sure all is in place.
The Engagement Ceremony
For her engagement cum sangeet ceremony Mansha was spotted in a powder blue lehenga with gota patti work. Needless to say, it is one of our favourites! She toned down her makeup and opted for a simple hairdo with flowers. Nihit on the other hand was seen in a coordinated powder blue asymmetrical sherwani.
The Wedding
A big fan of Anita Dongre, Mansha picked out the prettiest pastel silk lehenga for herself. She says, “I always knew that it was going to be Anita Dongre because I simply love her artwork and colours that she uses. Her artwork is very traditional but the lehenga looks very young and unlike the typical super heavy and blingy bridal lehengas. She uses very fresh colour combinations for a contemporary look. My lehenga was elaborately embroidered by hand with pearls, sequins, zari and gota patti in motifs inspired by the flowers that bloom in the forests of Ranthambore. I wore a blush silk lehenga with two dupattas – blush and sage.”
Review of the Photographer
Mansha has nothing but praise for her photographers, Divine Mantra. She said and we quote, “The photography team was very professional and made a sense check of the entire venue beforehand. This way, they knew the right angle for setting up stages, mandap and good photo spots! They were co-operative and knew exactly the kind of pictures we wanted. The Trident and Oberoi property is beautiful and from looking at the pictures we have received, the team has done total justice to it.”
