Jaz & Mannat Alberta : A glimpse of Mannat and Jaz’s fairytale wedding! #Jannat

Mannat and Jaz tied the knot in a big fat wedding Indian wedding in Canada. It all starts with a dreamy pre wedding photoshoot in the jungle. The pictures are breathtaking and other couples need to take a cue from their book! Mannat is a designer with a very very very impressive collection! All her wedding outfits were much appreciated everywhere!

The wedding planning was done by the bride, groom and their families. Every small detail was looked after and was perfected.

The Sangeet

In Mannat’s words, “This might be my favourite day of the whole wedding. It was an intimate joint sangeet full of wonderful family and friends dance performances, a love story skit by our friends and a surprise dance number by me for my groom! I felt like a princess dancing for my prince!”

The Haldi Ceremony

Called as ‘maiyan’ traditionally, the haldi ceremony started with the bride being slathered with haldi paste. The haldi ceremony was followed by chura and kaleere ceremony where the bride’s maternal uncle or mama puts 21 red and ivory chura on the bride’s arms.

The Wedding

The bride and groom wore colour coordinated pastel outfits and looked beautiful! Mannat’s choice of lehenga, makeup, and jewellery has really bowled us over!
