Chris & Gayatri Goa : Beautiful Beach Cross-Cultural Wedding held at Taj Holiday Village, Goa

Chris & Gayatri Goa : Beautiful Beach Cross-Cultural Wedding held at Taj Holiday Village, Goa

A cross cultural destination wedding shot by Navdeep Soni, held at the Taj Holiday Village Goa, is giving us all the inspiration of the prettiest kind! A Sabyasachi bride dressed in jewels from Amrapali, and a dapper not-so-desi groom dressed in a crisp off-white + gold hued sherwani – could this Indian destination wedding be more ideal? With the added elements of chivaris, a circular chandelier mandap, and bucketloads of love Gayatri and Chris’ beach front destination wedding at the Taj Holiday Village Goa was one-of-a-kind beautiful! Planned and executed by Crosscraft Events Goa and Larissa, wedding planner from Crosscraft Events, Goa who made this stunning couple’s wedding dream a destination wedding at Taj Holiday Village Goa a reality!

The celebrations began with the Sangeet + Mehndi + Cocktail on the first night. Three events in one night? Hell yes. Gayatri and Chris’ triple whammy pre-wedding ceremony had all the colourful elements of a mehndi ceremony, all the craziness of a cocktail night and all the naach-gaana of a full-on Bollywood sangeet – now, who wouldn’t be up for that?! Dressed in a stunning gold and beige Anita Dongre anarkali styled lehenga, this beautiful bride looked comfortable, chic and classy! The bride herself had her mehndi put on before the function so she could enjoy every bit of this triple fun pre-wedding event! The haldi ceremony followed the next day, set in a theme of yellow, white and pink. Each wedding guest wore outfits colour coordinated in these vibrant hues. Gayatri was dressed in an orange and yellow tiered Ritu Kumar lehenga with fresh floral jewellery and reflective ray-bans for that ‘swag mera desi’ vibe.

With a wedding set up to perfectly match the vibe of this cross-cultural union Gayatri donned a classic pink velvet Sabyasachi wedding lehenga and the dapper groom was dressed in an ivory sherwani from Telon. A circular chandelier mandap with pristine white drapes, matching tables set with candle sticks, flowers and cutesy shell-shaped frog giveaways. After the pheras, the reception saw some good food, heartfelt speeches, champagne toasts and so much love!
