Avantika and Pratik recently got hitched in a mesmerizing ceremony at Novotel Hotel in Mumbai. They had an intimate mehendi, a grand sangeet and a close knit pheras. From the decor to the outfits, we loved everything about this wedding!

Their Story..

Avantika and Pratik taught at the same dance studio whilst the former was still pursuing dentistry. After four months Pratik moved away halfway across the world for his undergraduate studies. They still talked everyday and whenever they met, nothing seemed amiss! When he came down in the latter years of his university both of them were nervous as both had an inkling towards this growing friendship.. They met, they kissed and rest is history!

The Wedding Planning..

The bride says, “Pratik and I were sure that we wanted one grand function, a Sangeet Reception, coming from the dance backgrounds we have, there had to be a mind-boggling performance. The rest of the functions, we wanted to ensure that they were close knit and personal, where details would ensure that every person that attended the wedding would feel a sense of comfort and warmth with their valued presence.

Very early on, we brought on board The Event Collective who began by having a similar mindset of differentiation, doing the unconventional which were illustrated in our hand tied save the dates that in our eyes were definitions of perfection. Whether our intimate mehendi, grand sangeet or simple pheras, every function had a personality.”
