MEHNDI + COCKTAILS + SANGEET
Three events in one night? Hell yeah! Gayatri and Chris’ triple whammy sangeet + mehndi + cocktail night had all the colourful elements of a mehndi ceremony, all the craziness of a cocktail night and all the naach-gaana of a full-on Bollywood sangeet – now, who wouldn’t be up for that?! Dressed in a stunning gold and beige Anita Dongre anarkali styled lehenga, this beautiful bride looked comfortable, chic and classy! The bride had her mehndi put on before the function so she could enjoy every bit of this triple fun pre-wedding event!
HALDI + CHOODA CEREMONY
The haldi ceremony was set in a theme of yellow, white and pink. Each wedding guest was colour coordinated in these vibrant hues. Gayatri was dressed in an orange and yellow tiered Ritu Kumar lehenga with fresh floral jewellery and reflective ray-bans for that ‘swag mera desi’ vibe. The yellow holy paste along with meetha shaadi ka laddo and other tiny elements captured in all its purity by Navdeep Soni had us completely sold at his flawless wedding photography skills.
THE WEDDING
With a wedding set up to perfectly match the vibe of this cross-cultural union Gayatri donned a classic pink velvet Sabyasachi wedding lehenga and the dapper groom was dressed in an ivory sherwani from Telon. A circular chandelier mandap with pristine white drapes, matching tables set with candle sticks, flowers and cutesy shell-shaped frog giveaways. After the pheras, the reception saw some good food, heartfelt speeches, champagne toasts and so much love!
