Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’ Official Wedding Pictures – Late, but worth the wait!

The Game of Thrones actress – Sophie Turner and the Jonas brother singer Joe Jonas got hitched in a very impromptu wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in a Chapel on May 1 and set their fans in a frenzy. They later had a traditional wedding in the little French town of Provence on June 30 and we couldn’t be happier! 

While I really loved the idea of a Paris wedding for #Jophie, there wasn’t a single official picture surfacing online. It was just today morning that the couple took to Instagram to share their first official wedding picture from their wedding which was otherwise been kept hush hush affair.  

Both the actress and singer posted the same picture with the caption, “Mr and Mrs Jonas.” and it’s seriously too cute to handle. 

Sophie made a gorgeous bride in a Louis Vuitton wedding gown while Joe Jonas was the perfect groom in a sharp black tuxedo. The couple might be several days late with their wedding shot but the black and white picture they shared has got all the elements that basically sum up their love story – a happy bride walking down the aisle with her wedding bouquet, hand-in-hand with now-husband Joe Jonas, both having clenched their fists in a ‘whoopie’ exclamation! 

The 23-year-old brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton, turned to the French fashion house for her bridal gown. The brand’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière shared a picture of Turner in her outfit on Instagram, captioning it, “Absolut beauty.” 

The photo showed the details of the outfit that featured a cut-out back, sheer sleeves, and floral embellishments on the skirt along with a lace-trimmed, sheer veil. 

Guests at the wedding included the Jonas clan – Priyanka and Nick, Kevin and Danielle, Frankie along with parents Denise and Kevin, ‘GOT’ actress Maisie Williams, DJ Diplo (who had shared details from the couple’s Vegas wedding on Instagram), Ashley Graham and Justin Ervin among others.

While we do not have any pictures from the reception, we do know what the property looks like. The reception, according to multiple reports, took place at Château de Tourreau – which is on the outskirts of Sarrians. The luxe and grand home dates its existence to 18th century. Yes, it’s that historic. 

The interiors of this house are bedecked with Provencal furniture and art, as well as gilded mirrors and chandeliers. While the house oozes a historic charm, the amenities it provides, are very modern. Meaning it has a – helipad, a movie theater, and tennis, basketball, volleyball and squash courts. All in all, the chateau can provide residence for 14 guests, and if you rent the nearby five-bedroom farmhouse, an additional 17. Pretty cool right?
